Meet Formerly Floyd. His full name is The Rabbit Formerly Known As Floyd, or TRFKAF for short. TRFKAF is the first gift my husband (Version 2.0, much much better than version 1.0) gave me, and he is my riding buddy. This is because Husband 2.0 doesn't ride, so this is as close as we'll get to being on the road together. TRFKAF is not much of a stoker, but he has ridden RAMROD, Cycle Oregon and innumerable centuries with me without complaint - what more could I ask? This blog will relate our rides together, as well as other aspects of life in the paradise that is Portland or, more precisely, my .9 acres of Portland.

did his name used to be floyd?
For 8 years he was just "Bunny." Last year, in a fit of irrational exuberance during the Tour de France, he was renamed "Floyd." Then . . . . well . . . now he's formerly Floyd.
